SUNDIAL SUMMONING

[ She ran. Ran as far as her legs could take her.

Hakuno Kishinami had stumbled upon something dangerous and sacred.

She wasn't going to make it out alive. That's what her instincts were telling her. She was going to die. She was going to get killed. That was the destiny that was set upon her the moment she witnessed two inhuman figures fighting before her eyes.

The green-haired warrior with the spear chased her down. Stating something about her luck running out, and it's a pity to kill her since she ran so fast. Even though Hakuno knew that Death was chasing after her, she didn't want to give up. Why did she have to die? What did she do to deserve this? She just happened to be at a bad place at the wrong time?

Hakuno ran to the sundial plaza. The full moon was the only source of light for her in the dark. Her brain continued to scream at her. To get out of there. She was going to be killed. She was going to die. The end was coming. However, it was too late.

The spear came just as fast as the Warrior himself. ]

"I dislike killing women and fate, however, there are rules that must be abided by. I'll make it painless for you, the least I can do."

[ The voice spoke behind Hakuno, but it was already too late. All she saw was red. Her entire world spun, and before she knew it, she was already on the ground. From the corner of her eye, Hakuno saw the spear user walk away. The tip of his spear dripped with blood. Ah, her blood, is what Hakuno realizes as she feels a warm pool underneath her. She was bleeding. She was stabbed.

Gritting her teeth, Hakuno attempted to get up but kept falling. Her blood flowed into the cracks of the sundial plaza. She should give up and let Death take her across, yet her whole body and mind were screaming at her, telling her how it wasn't fair.

She was afraid. Afarid was afraid to lose her senses. Afraid of the pain. Yet most importantly, Hakuno Kishinami was afraid of becoming a corpse. She didn't want to disappear without a trace for no reason at all. She was just unlucky? What a bullshit reason.

Stand up. Fight. Stand up. Fight.

It wasn't right that she disappeared. What was the purpose of running so hard? To struggle so hard? Only to disappear!? Her conscience screamed out at the injustice of it all.

It was okay for her to be afraid. It's okay for her to be in pain.

Hakuno Kishinami will rise above all of that. She has yet fought on her own volition and terms.

She has not yet obtained a Sword of her own. ]

[ It was as if the hands of time stopped.

The swordsman clad in silver and white appeared before Hakuno under the moonlit sky. However, despite how bright the full moon was, it was as if he was the "Sun" that "eclipsed" the Moon's Eyes.

An ominous warning flickered in Hakuno's mind.

"An angel that will bring her ruin."

Yet that outstretched hand was everything but.

If he would bring her ruin, then so be it. Hakuno would gladly accept it, after all, she was the one who took his hand. This would be her stand. It was her decision. She wasn't going to back down from it.

Her left hand reached out. Fingers pressed against the young man's palm as she felt something burn against her skin. The contract was now formed. The path between them connected, and now their fates were sealed.]

...Master? What? Who are you?

[ Hakuno was dying not that long ago, but she rebounded quickly, already shooting out questions. No, the better question that she needs to ask is. ]

Are you my enemy?
